Yep Portugal did good, I agree. But that midfielder whop took the first red card is a bloody idiot. How can you let your team down like that? He left his brains at home.
Historical change for your country to winn the bloody bastard. Small change, but real change. The match was very entertaining but it had nothing to do with football. Countries like Portugal, Italy and Germany used to join up with eacother to kill the game and now, in 2006, England and The Netherlands have the same negative aproach. The Dutch team did not have offensive backs, the strikers did not get support wurth mentioning the intrire tournament. Austalia, with less skilled players, played a better game sofar.
Teams like Australia and the US keep the flame of good, offensive football up. This Dutch team was not my Dutch team.
